With the glossary feature, you can add an interactive glossary term to your content. When users mouseover the term, the definition will pop up. To use the glossary feature, follow the steps below.
- While in the edit mode of your HTML content block, select the text that should have the glossary pop-up link. Once text is selected, click on the link icon in the WYSIWYG.
- Select <other> under the Protocol drop down and paste the glossary url. If you don’t know the glossary url, you can select the Glossary button in the top menu (the black header that always persists when you are logged in as a content creator) and search for it there. The url will usually be the glossary word itself, or the term with underscores between the words (e.g. the url for “rate of change” is rate_of_change).
- Next, select the Advanced tab and enter in "glossary" in the Stylesheet Classes field.
- Select OK to save. You can preview the glossary pop-up from the resource View tab.
To request new words for the glossary, contact TEA staff.
